I built it because none of the rigs I owned sounded like the thing I heard in my head. Real-time DSP in C with lock-free atomic parameters, AVAudioEngine in Swift, a WSOLA octaver, a YIN harmoniser, an autocorrelation tuner, and tube-saturation amps with real tonestack values.

By ear
Gilmour’s phrasing is the standard nobody really cleared. I work these out slowly, by ear, until they stop feeling mechanical. It takes as long as it takes.
